I think those are Pyle MI speakers, Utah equivalents. I've got one kicking around here somewhere i'll get a pic in the daylight.
BTW, OG, i still owe you a big thanks for a link you posted to some 1905A parametric EQ's months ago. I'd been looking for a decent parametric at a beggars entry fee. Imagine how far the grin on my face stretched when i opened one of these puppies up only to discover that the 1905A is really a Klark Teknik DN-405 in a 2 space chassis! Of course the grin is doubled because i got a pair. These posts really are appreciated. Thanks again!
+1 on that!!!
In fact I am going to talk to Altec Best to see that you get a raise!
Where does it say empty cabs?
"I think it has altec lansing mains in the enclosure, and the small marshall speakers are also included in the posting price"
Read again AB it's everything there for 150.
Glad to help Bowtie. Those are nice Eq's I still have at least one somewhere.
Struck me they could be cheapos, I would still look if local. Most of the cheapos have been blown up by now.
Pyle, forget his first name, was a Utah engineer who bought some of Utah's assets out of bankruptcy. He then started making stuff under his own name. It's 2 or 3 bankruptcies later and the name has changed hands often. Just a marketing company now.

Could be 515's per vented dustcap. (of course, perhaps could be a lot of things)
edti: (+Surrounds appear to be accordian, but hard to tell with existing pic. )
sorry, my pic kinda sucks. It's cold out there so i was in a hurry.
The dustcap has a very rough or irregular texture, not unlike the reverse side of many factory JBL cones, and they fade like crazy with just a little exposure to sunlight. While they're very faded, and the pic is way worse than mine, to me the DC's in the OP appear to have that same rough texture, not smooth like an Altec should be.
There's just something familiar about them, but it's not an altec familiarity to me.

Your right OG I just buzzed through the Board earlier and didn't read the whole listing ! My Bad ! Sorry for that. Was trying to improve the Marketplace, and doing Moderating duties and also was talking with Steven and he said he could bring back the classifieds. But IIRC there was some issues with that.I hope to get it working very soon.
BTW Glad to see you up and about ! All The Best !
Those Marshalls look mighty small in comparison....wouldn't it be funny if they were 3184's![]()
I sent a PM yesterday asking about them and where a buddy living in Winder could come look at them for me, but no response yet.
